Boston Mayflower is a not-for-profit Company, and a Registered Charity.
The Company was formed and launched during 1999, in order to purchase the entire portfolio of (almost 5,000) homes, owned by Boston Borough Council, following a ballot by the tenants of Boston, who wished to see their homes improved.
We have now successfully delivered all of the promises made to those tenants, who voted to change their landlord in 1999, including £30m of major home improvements. We are looking forward to achieving our vision for the future, now that our homes are of a good standard.
The Company’s Vision is;
"Promoting thriving, sustainable communities”
Boston Mayflower is governed by a voluntary Board of Management, made up of Tenants and Independent Members, who bring valuable business skills and experiences.
We employ 110 staff in a variety of professional disciplines, who deliver a range of valuable services to our customers, and who strive to continuously improve the way in which we work, using the most up to date Information and Communication Technologies.
We are recognised as an “Investor In People”, and provide our staff with every opportunity to develop and grow, both personally and professionally, using a generous training budget and a group of supportive managers.

An Overview of Boston
Boston Borough consists of approximately 55,000 residents, living in 24,000 households. Boston is an historic place, which for over 300 years has seen international trade carried out through its port on The Wash.
It has recently seen a re-establishment of its historic multi-cultural nature, as significant numbers of workers have arrived from Europe and other locations, to respond to the demand for agricultural labour.
Boston’s town centre facilities are ahead of towns of a similar size, including a Multi-screen cinema, a theatre and top named shops in the centre of this bustling market town.
