We were established in December 1999 as a charitable Company Limited by Guarantee to receive the transfer of over 4,800 homes from Boston Borough Council.
Boston Mayflower now owns and manages homes to let and provides services to leaseholders and shared owners across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.
We have over 800 sheltered housing flats and bungalows in 14 schemes for older and vulnerable residents; 2 schemes specifically for homeless people and, in partnership with Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire County Council, provide an Extra Care facility in Boston at Mayfields.
Boston Mayflower provides support services that cater for a range of needs - such as for older tenants and residents, Floating Support for vulnerable adults, hostel accommodation for the homeless, and support for victims of domestic abuse - to over 1,500 vulnerable people in Boston and East Yorkshire.
We help people to continue to live independently in their own homes.
With an annual turnover of nearly £17 million and the direct employment of 130 people, including apprentices and trainees, Boston Mayflower plays a significant role in supporting the local economy and community.
The company invests the majority of its funding into the provision of services to tenants, including repairs and maintenance which supports another 40 local jobs and invests in excess of £6 million per annum - improving and regenerating existing property for current and future tenants.
