LILP is Officially Launched
WE ARE part of a new unique partnership aimed at helping more vulnerable people live independently at home.
Boston Mayflower is one of six organisations, all with charitable status, which together comprise the Lincs Independent Living Partnership (LILP).
The other members are Age UK, Adults Supporting Adults, the LACE Housing Association, St Barnabas, and the Lincolnshire Home Improvement Agency.
The partnership was officially launched at an event featuring the Bishop of Lincoln, the Right Reverend Christopher Lowson, who gave his endorsement to the new group.
He said: “For many people, being able to live in their own home, in familiar surroundings and with fond memories, is vital to their health and happiness.
“I am proud to launch this new partnership.”
By bringing a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to the partnership all organisations feel they can work ‘stronger together’ and help more people live independently at home for longer.
