The Garden Club

What is it?

It is a service available to Boston Mayflower tenants who:

Have long term ill health

Have a permanent disability

Have other special circumstances

If any of the above prevents you from looking after your garden and if you don’t have family or friends who can help you with looking after your garden, you could be eligible for assistance.

What do I get?

Boston Mayflower will arrange for you to have:

Grass cutting (up to 14 cuts per season)

Hedge trimming (up to 3 cuts per season)

This will be carried out by one of our professional partners.

What will it cost?

You must be a member for at least one year.

Grass cutting is £3.80 per week for which you’ll receive up to 14 cuts per season

Hedge trimming is £1.31 per week for which you’ll receive up to 3 cuts per season.

These charges can be paid with your rent but you can’t get Housing Benefit for them.
