* Turn your Thermostat down slightly – even a 1 degree reduction can result in a saving of up to 10%
* Check for draughts around doors/windows, and close your curtains at dusk to avoid heat loss
* Don’t leave appliances on standby – this uses unnecessary energy
* Fully load your washing machine; several small loads is more expensive than one big one
* Use energy saving light bulbs where possible
