Head of Repairs

Location: Grimsby and Boston with some travel

Salary: £60,105

As the Head of Repairs you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a high performing and responsive Repairs Team.

You will be part of the Operational Management Team, reporting into the Director of Property and will have a strong track record creating value-for-money delivery solutions. Plus, as a great leader, you will drive your team to deliver excellent quality, whilst developing a flexible and customer focused approach to exceed customer satisfaction.

About you

  • Degree or equivalent or diploma in construction studies
  • Chartered Builder: MCIOB or equivalent
  • Significant experience of managing the provision of high quality multi-disciplinary Repairs services in a customer-focused environment.
  • A robust track record in managing an in-house repairs team or contractor
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrable track record of ‘on the ground’ delivery
  • Good knowledge and experience of contract management and delivery
  • Financial management experience and evidence of delivering Value for Money
  • Experience of liaison and negotiation with contractors, sub-contractors and material suppliers at a senior level.
  • Strong people management
  • Experience of working at a senior management level.

Head of Commercial Support Services

Salary: £57,181

Reporting into the Director of Customers, this role will play a pivotal role in the Operational Management Team, where you will make a significant contribution to the organisation of the Customer Service Centre, Warden, Telecare & Community Support Services.

You will be experienced in delivering corporate strategies and will know how to get the very best out of teams to make them high performing, efficient and customer focussed. Plus, with a commercial mind, you will be all about commercial growth, driving customer satisfaction, and will have a keen eye for emerging markets.
