• Provide you with a claim form if you want one

• Offer you help to complete it

• Advise you on the evidence you need to provide

• Talk to the Housing Benefit office about the progress of your claim

Advice

We will if you want us to

• Advise you where you can get independent advice

• Direct you to other agencies like the Tax Office

• Calculate how much Housing Benefit you are likely to get

Verification

We have an agreement with Boston Borough Council which means we can also check your claim if you live in the Borough of Boston.

So if you want us to, we will:

• Explain the verification scheme and the roles of Boston Mayflower and Boston Borough Council

• Verify your documents so that your claim can be processed

And if you post in your claim, we will:

• Return your valuable documents by special delivery within 24 hours of receipt.
