Our Transition Team which is made of six members of staff from both organisations, are busy working on joint projects involving cross sections of staff in preparation for merger. A message board has been created so that all staff can ask questions and receive regular news updates. We also share news stories here so staff can get a flavour of what’s happening in Peterborough and in Boston, for example the Wartime Road Shows on the front page of the website is posted on it and we’ve provided all staff with the opportunity to go Peterborough or Boston in small groups to get a real picture of the other company.
Staff structures have recently been posted along with the proposed Board and Committee Structures and we shall be launching a staff survey through the message board w/c 11.8.08 in order to gauge feeling for merger.
The Introduction days that have taken place have been very successful and staff have enthusiastically taken up the opportunity to meet potential colleagues and of course share lunch!
