Ways you can pay your rent

Boston Mayflower offers a wide range of ways to pay your rent and other charges; all transactions are free and should be made in advance.


Direct Debit – With your agreement we can set up a secure payment from your Bank or Building Society account. Just give us details of your account and we do all the rest. We offer the following options:

  • Weekly/Fortnightly/4 weekly – Any day Monday to Friday
  • Monthly – 1st to 28th inclusive taken over 12, 11 or 10 months
  • Annual – 15th April
  • Half yearly -15th April and 15th October
  • Quarterly – 1st of any month

We will tell you in advance of the amount to be paid and if an error does occur, you will receive a full and immediate refund as part of the Direct Debit Guarantee. Payments take approx. 2 working days to reach your Bank account so if you request your payment to be taken on the 1st, it could be several days later before it is actually taken from your Bank account (dependent upon weekends and Bank Holidays).

Swipe card - The swipe card can be used to pay with cash or card at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet, please contact our Customer Services Centre on 0345 604 1472 to request one. Payments take 2-3 working days to reach your account.

By Telephone - Give our Customer Services Centre a call on 0345 604 1472 to pay by debit or credit card. You can call us Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 6.00pm and a receipt will be sent by post. Your account will be credited the next working day.

In our Receptions – You can pay in person at Chantry House or an Estate Office using a debit or credit card, you will receive a receipt there and then and your account will be credited the next working day.

On our Website - You can also pay by debit or credit card by clicking on ‘Pay Your Rent’. By providing your Boston Mayflower account details and in particular your tenancy reference number (shown on your rent account statement) payment can be made safely in just a couple of minutes. You will receive a reply email and also a receipt for the transaction in the post. Your account will be credited the next working day.

Standing Order and Internet Banking - Alternatively, you can pay through your bank in branch or with banking online. Our Bank details are detailed below, please ensure you quote your full account reference number on all transactions (eg H12345678-001 or CSP12234-002) – these can be found on your Tenancy Agreement, account statements etc). Your account will be credited in approx. 2 working days.
