Report A Repair Online

Always call us on 0345 604 1472 for immediate and emergency repairs. Do not report your repair on this website if an immediate or emergency response is required.

Using Boston Mayflower’s online repairs reporting system, you can report a repair at any time. This will be dealt with the following working day.


Immediate - Within 3 Hours

  • All gas leaks or hazards (National Grid)
  • Blocked flue to fire or boiler
  • Dangerous structural faults
  • Temporary repairs after fire, flood, lightning or severe storm damage
  • Gain entry where no other access available
  • Repair windows and doors to make property secure
  • Total loss of heating (1 November to 30 April only for vulnerable adults and households with small children under the age of 5)
  • Burst water pipes
  • Total loss of electric power (please contact your supplier first to check this is not a power cut)
  • Total loss of water supply (please contact Anglian Water first to check if the problem is local)

Emergency - Within 24 Hours

·Defective water heater

·Boiler leaks

  • Major leaks inside a building which can be isolated
  • Defective cooker supply, lights or sockets
  • External doors or windows (where security is affected)
  • Blocked drains or toilets
  • Replacements of broken glass (where security is affected)
  • Partial loss electricity power or water supply
  • Defective gas supply
  • Replacement toilet pans, cisterns and wash basins
  • Minor repairs to tanks or cylinders
  • Loose handrails or banisters
  • Graffiti removal where it is racial, sexual or of other unacceptable nature

Urgent - Within 5 Days

  • Water penetration
  • Defective ball valves
  • Defective taps
  • Total loss of heating (1 May to 31 October only)
  • Underground burst not causing damage to premises
  • Non Dangerous electrical faults
  • Minor plumbing leaks
  • Glazing not affecting security
  • Non urgent heating appliance repairs
  • Storm damage
  • Repair or renewal of roof tiles
  • Blocked waste pipe of toilet (where there is more than 1 toilet in the home)

Routine - Within 14 Days

  • Flooring repairs
  • Repairs or renewal of skirting boards or shelving
  • Repairs to internal doors or cupboards
  • Repairs to doors and windows
  • Repairs to plaster and glazed wall tiling
  • Repairs to blocked or leaking gutters and fall pipes
  • Repairs to rendering and repointing of brickwork
  • New electrical and plumbing installations work
  • Repairs to paths and steps
  • Repairs to fences and gates
  • Replacement of door and window furniture (where security is not affected)
  • Urgent repairs (5 day priority) where the tenant has chosen an appointment exceeding the 5 day period
