Your Voice
You really can influence what we do by becoming involved.
You can give us your opinion on any aspect of our service or on your home.
In our ‘In Touch’ Newsletter and our Annual Report we will publish information about our performance, the views we have received and how we have taken those views into account.
You don’t have to leave home or get involved with a group to let us know what you think. Here are some of the ways you can be involved, but if you have ideas for other ways please let us know If you are interested in joining any of these groups or would like to know more about them, please contact our Customer Involvement Officer or complete our sign up form.

Comment Cards
When you receive a service from us we will leave you a comment card for you to let us know how well we are doing and how you were treated. These are also available on request and in our reception areas.

Read our magazine ‘In Touch’ and let us know your views or send in your ideas for articles and features.
Review our handbooks, leaflets and other documents that we produce, by telling us what you think from the comfort of your own home.

Let us know how well we, and others, are performing in making your area an attractive place to live, simply by looking out of your window and letting us have your comments.

Young Persons’ Voice
An informal way for young people to give us ideas and suggestions on what matters to them in the areas they live.
Tenants’ Forum
This is a chance for tenants and residents to get together on an informal basis, perhaps with a guest speaker, to discuss ideas or views on our services or on issues of concern. This Forum is run by tenants, for tenants.
Dates for your diary:
14 July 2008

Area Boards
These are formal meetings which link directly into our decision-making process and provide a voice for the local community.
Open Events
During the year we will hold open days and community events which promote tenant involvement and participation. You can help us to organise these events, make suggestions or simply attend on the day.
Service Voice
Customers receive specialised training to help us review our services and how we treat our customers by checking our system of complaints, etc.
Mystery Shopper
Mystery Shopping is a method of checking the level of service that our staff provides to you, our customers. Customers are trained to either make phone calls or write letters to Boston Mayflower staff on fictitious scenarios that test our response to given situations. Shoppers may, for example, phone up to make a complaint, report a repair, or write in to see how a written enquiry is dealt with.
