We are now offering training to all our customers on the various services that we provide and also in personal development skills. This training will help provide you with information all about the role of Boston Mayflower and also help develop your personal skills.
Our courses range from getting to know about our repairs and maintenance service to learning how to chair meetings.
Below are the dates and times of the courses we will be running up until Christmas 2007. Refreshments will be provided at all courses, along with handouts and a certificate of attendance.

Telecare offers choice and flexibility of service provision to vulnerable people, from community alarm services and sensors that monitor daily living, through to more sophisticated solutions capable of monitoring vital signs and enabling individuals with long term health conditions to remain at home.

Personal Finance & Budgeting

This interactive course will look at how to increase your income, analyse your spending, get the most out of your hard earned cash and make the best use of any money you have left over - if you're lucky enough to have any!
Health & Safety in Your Own Home
Tuesday 11 November 2008 - 10.00 am to 12.30 pm
It's not a lecure or death by Power Point and it might turn out to be fun! I'll be wanting you to get involved, there may be short films, maybe a quiz, but most importantly we'll make sure there's time to talk about things that you want to explore. Just to give a taste we might take a look at asbestos, fire safety, general home safety and risk aversion. If there's anything you'd particularly like to include contact Michelle and she'll pass it on to me. I look forward to meeting you all.
